Back in October of 2019, I had the privilege of shooting the Spring 2020 line for one of the Pacific Northwest’s premiere clothing and equipment brands: Outdoor Research. The first time I saw an Outdoor Research jacket I was in high school and it blew my mind. My good friend Bryce Broderick had one and I was like, “Wait, what? There’s life outside of Columbia Sportswear?!” Any kid from Oregon in the 90’s knows exactly what I’m talking about. Anyway, I’ll never forget how jealous I was of that jacket and how cool I thought it was. As time passed by, I’ve always held Outdoor Research in the highest regard for absolutely bomber outerwear. Plus, it has been born and raised in the great PNW. Just like me. To say I was stoked to work with this brand would be an understatement. It was an absolute honor.
