The Land of Lakes & Volcanoes

What do you say when Mikey DeTemple invites you to shoot empty beach break tubes with an all-star cast? You say, yes!, of course. I had been to this sweltering countryside before, but never to this region. We were greeted to spitting barrels every morning for a week straight and spent the afternoons nursing Toñas in an onshore breeze. I returned home with blisters on the bottom of my feet and missing a few layers of my dermis, but that’s a price I’m happy to pay.
